Happy Goat Coffee Co. at Blair LRT Station offers a cozy pause amid the bustle of Gloucester’s transit hub. Though the café itself occupies a small nook within the station, it manages to carve out a surprisingly pleasant corner for commuters and local coffee lovers alike. The setup is straightforward—no frills or sprawling seating areas—but it serves its purpose well as a grab-and-go spot or a brief escape while waiting for a train.

The coffee here stays consistent and approachable, with straightforward offerings like iced americanos, nitro cold brews, and thoughtfully poured oat milk alternatives when the situation calls for it. This practicality makes it a reliable start-of-day or midday pick-me-up, especially for those who need a quality cup without straying far from the transit flow. The presence of nitro cold brew and some baked goods, including vegan-friendly options, adds a touch of variety for quick snack pairing.

Customer interactions suggest a friendliness and attentiveness from the staff that feels genuine, offering small gestures that stand out in a busy, often impersonal station environment. Whether it’s helping out when equipment is down or sharing details about the treats available, the team’s approach keeps the mood light and welcoming. Visitors who treat the staff with respect seem to be met with an extra warmth, which helps create a small community feel despite the café’s limited space.

Given its location, the best time to visit is naturally aligned with commuter rhythms—morning rush hours and early afternoons see steady activity. The tight quarters mean it’s not a stop for extended lounging or group meetups, but it excels as a dependable spot to secure good coffee and a quick bite en route. Travelers and locals who appreciate straightforward quality and friendly service, without the distractions of a typical café scene, will find Happy Goat Coffee Co. a practical and pleasant part of their day.

Tiny box in the wall, but the people are great and the coffee is even better!

Had a great experience today. Ice machine was broken but I was able to get a can of nitro cold brew, and the barista poured me a bit of oat milk in a cup so I was still able to enjoy my morning cold brew! Then the polite cashier informed me the brownies were also vegan, so I had a yummy treat as well. Super cute local coffee shop, able to get my morning caffeine in between trains!

A small oasis in a stuffy train station. Every time I've had a coffee here, it's been good. I got an iced americano this time, it's just a good cup of coffee for an honest price. Staff is super friendly and will answer your questions if you have any.

I was so surprised to be walking through the Blair LRT station and to stumble across The Happy Goat! There’s a great selection of coffee and light baked goods, including nitro cold brew if that’s your thing. Staff are super friendly and the prices are great. Very happy I found it!

Everyone here has always been incredibly nice and sweet. I really feel like they go through extra mile for those that respect them and treat them well. I’ve been coming semi consistently for my commute and whether it’s winter or summer I’ve always been happy.

Honestly, some of the best hot chocolate I've had in a while. An absolute lifesaver in the winter while commuting.
